Export Business Intelligence Data Introduction

In the Business Intelligence app you'll notice a download icon on the right side of the screen.

This allows you to export an excel file containing both raw and grouped data according to the time period you've set in the Business Intelligence interface.

How do set my parameters for exporting data?

The data that is exported depends on two main elements:

It is important to note that whatever 'Filters' or 'Time Period' parameters you set will also affect the export you make.

What are the tabs in the Excel spreadsheet and what do they mean?

Amazon Vendor • Business Intelligence > Dashboard

From the Vendor Dashboard, once you downloaded the Excel spreadsheet, you'll notice 5 tabs:

  • Summary
    This provides a summary of the time period (from and to) plus overall aggregated performances for Sell-In (Units & Sales) as well as Sell-Out (Units & Sales)
  • Raw Data
    This provides you with sales performances per individual product sold
  • Grouped Filtered Data
    This provides you with a grouped breakdown according to what you set as the 'Group by' in the inteface
  • Sell-In Best Sellers (20-80)
    This is a selection of the 20% of your products which make for 80% of your sales.
  • Sell-Out Best Sellers (20-80)
    This is a selection of the 20% of your products which make for 80% of your sales.

Amazon Vendor • Business Intelligence > Analysis

Typically, in Business Intelligence > Analysis, users select two date ranges. If you've selected two date ranges and export the data you'll see the following tabs 9 tabs your Excel spreadsheet:

  • Summary
  • Raw Data
  • VS Raw Data
  • Units Grouped Data
  • Sales Grouped Data
  • Sell-In Best Sellers
  • Sell-Out Best Sellers
  • VS Sell-in Best Sellers
  • VS Sell-Out Best Sellers

Amazon Seller • Business Intelligence > Dashboard

From the Seller Dashboard, once you downloaded the Excel spreadsheet, you'll notice 4 tabs:

  • Summary
  • Raw Data
  • Grouped Filteres Data
  • Best Sellers (20-80)
